As a North Carolina native, I’m proud to call the Triangle home. My free time is often spent with friends over a glass of rosé, walking our dog, indulging in delicious Southern food, or traveling. I also have a deep love for history - whether it’s museums or monuments, learning about the past brings me so much joy. That passion naturally connects to my photography, where I strive to capture and preserve meaningful stories.
My journey with photography began at Durham School of the Arts, where I studied film photography. From the very start, I’ve been fascinated by the power of images - their ability to freeze moments in time and tell stories that last for generations. I love exploring new places with my camera, capturing emotions, and creating timeless images that honor legacies. Whether I’m photographing portraits, landscapes, or special events, my goal is always the same: to craft images that are both unique and unforgettable.

Being engaged is such a joyful season of life! But let’s be honest - planning your dream wedding can feel overwhelming. You’re organizing one of the most meaningful days of your life, and you only get one shot at it. My goal is to make this process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, so you can focus on what matters most: celebrating your love and soaking in every moment.
The first step is a consultation. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we’ll talk about your vision, your priorities, and what you’re looking for in a photographer. I’ll walk you through my approach, my workflow, and answer any questions you may have. Whether you’re dreaming of a day that’s classic and elegant or relaxed and full of personality, I’m here to help bring it to life.
Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and online invoice to officially reserve your date. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding.
In the months leading up to your big day, I’ll be more than just your photographer - I’ll be a resource. I’ll help you build a photography timeline that’s thoughtful, relaxed, and tailored to your specific needs. I’ll coordinate with your planner and vendor team to ensure the day flows smoothly, allowing you to be present and fully enjoy every moment.
After the wedding, you’ll receive a digital gallery full of heartfelt moments, candid joy, and timeless portraits - images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

The engagement session is one of my favorite parts of our time together. I truly believe that they are a vital part of the entire process. During your engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know me, experience how I shoot and how I handle posing and lighting. This session will make a huge impact on how the wedding day flows. I’ll arrive on your wedding day already knowing how you two interact, what your best poses are and how to photograph you in a genuine way. What I will learn about you during your engagement session is invaluable. Plus, it's such a great way to enjoy time together and leave with a tangible memory that you can enjoy for years to come.
Engagement sessions usually last about 1.5 hours and includes two outfits. I will be sure to share my best secrets for getting the best out of your engagement experience. From selecting locations, to deciding on what to wear - every detail is covered.

A bridal portrait session is a fairly old and specifically Southern tradition. This is a time for you to take portraits in your wedding gown, typically including the full bridal ensemble. These portraits are usually taken (at least) one month before your wedding date and can be taken at your wedding venue or at another location of choice. Bridal sessions are incredibly beautiful and can provide a wonderful keepsake for you, your partner or even your family members long after the fact.
This session can also be a way to shake off any pre-wedding jitters and spend time focusing on yourself in a low pressure setting. Seeing the full bridal ensemble beforehand can ease your nerves leading up to your wedding day. It's also a good opportunity to utilize a hair, makeup and bouquet trail before the big day.
How do I reserve you for my date?
I will email you an electronic contract that includes details and logistics about your wedding date. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, you're officially booked! I collect a 50% non-refundable deposit with the remainder of the balance due one month before your wedding date.

Do you travel for Engagement Sessions and Weddings?
Yes of course! I love to travel. Travel and accommodations are reflected in the prices listed above. I currently live in Durham, NC, and love shooting on the road. An additional charge will be added if your location is more than 50 miles from my home.

What equipment do you use?
I am a hybrid photographer, meaning I include a mix of digital and film photography in my work. I typically shoot with a Canon R5, Contax 645, and a Pentax 645n. I use a variety of lenses depending on the situation, subject, and lighting. Want to know why I shoot with film? Read this blog post.

When and how will we receive our photos?
My typical turnaround time is 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. Your images will be delivered via an online gallery. These images can be easily downloaded to your desktop and shared with friends and family members for an unlimited time. Once delivered, you will own the rights to your images.
